Building social housing for disadvantaged groups

The project "Building social housing for disadvantaged groups" aims at providing modern housing for the accommodation of vulnerable groups of the population and other disadvantaged groups. The construction of this type of housing will ensure the spatial integration of representatives of marginalized communities as a whole and help to cope with their segregation, isolation and exclusion. It is envisaged the construction of a 3-storey residential building, comprising 18 social housing units, with the following distribution: • Type 1 dwelling - one bedroom - 3; • Type 2 dwelling - one-bedroom - 12; • Type 3 dwelling - three-bedroom - 3 pieces; Of which housing for people with disabilities - 3. The chosen place for construction of social housing is in one of the liveliest residential complexes in the area with a predominantly social character of the city and with access to educational and social infrastructure (school, kindergarten, hospital, social services, etc.). The newly built building will be supplied with drinking water from the water supply network of Petrich, sewage and power supply in accordance with the investment projects, and measures are also envisaged to provide accessible architectural environment for people with motor problems or other disabilities - providing approaches, ramps and more. , and three of the homes are specifically designed for people with disabilities. The building will be in harmony with the environment. Each dwelling will be furnished and equipped to provide basic living conditions for those living in social housing.
