Repair, reconstruction and measures to improve energy efficiency of cultural infrastructure on the territory of the Svishtov municipality

The project proposal provides for improvement of the existing facilities, servicing the cultural activities in three of the settlements of Svishtov municipality - Tsarevets, Vardim and Oresh. The priorities of the community centre management committees and the administrative units include: adapting the community centre to the cultural and economic conditions; working with children and adolescents; preservation of folk traditions and folklore, of musical and dancing arts, modernizing and maintaining the work of the amateur troupes and their inclusion to the national cultural calendar. Refurbishment of the buildings will provide opportunities for growth and expansion of the activities and will ensure sustainability of the products and services offered. In order to improve the efficiency of the community centers' activities, the focus will be placed on the renovation, investigation and introduction of measures for the energy efficiency of the buildings. A healthier and more aesthetic environment in the buildings will be achieved as a result from the project implementation. Normal working conditions for the amateur troupes and for the activities of all clubs housed at the community centre will be provided, as well as for organizing concerts, festivities, and other public events in the building. The the municipality, the employees and the participants in the amateur troupes from the community centre management committees will continue to look after the preservation of the good condition of the community centres and the buildings. Another significant activity from the implementation of project proposal is the popularization of the cultural and historical heritage and starting-up new activities by the community centre troupes and groups. Community centres can always rely on the Municipality of Svishtov as a stable partner rendering financial assistance in different spheres of operation aiming at affirming the cultural and educational policy.
