Construction of a social dwelling in the town of Svishtov

The implementation of the project proposal for the construction of social housing is an important prerequisite for improving the quality of life and social inclusion of the marginalized groups living on the territory of Svishtov municipality, including homeless people or those living in very poor living conditions, parents with children , including underage parents, large families, children with disabilities, and people at risk of poverty and social exclusion. The main activities include the implementation of remodeling measures, major renovation and renovation of an existing building, and the construction of 27 modern social housing units in it to provide shelter for vulnerable population groups. The activities foresee the implementation of the construction works for: - structural restoration / reinforcement / overhaul, depending on damage during its lifecycle, prescribed as mandatory in the technical inspection; - separation of 27 social housing units in the building, incl. Homes with adapted environment for people with disabilities; - carrying out of the accompanying construction and installation works related to the implementation of energy efficiency measures, prescribed as mandatory for the building in the energy efficiency audit; -others. The activities to provide social housing for marginalized groups will be combined with other types of interventions in the fields of education, health, social inclusion and employment. The project interventions will necessarily be complemented by activities to provide education, employment, health care, social inclusion of the target group, taking into account the opportunities provided by the Operational Program "Human Resources Development" 2014-2020, programs for access to social and health services of the representatives of the target groups; provision of mediation services by the Labor Offices and other programs for employment, health care, social inclusion of the target group.
