Beautification of the urban environment in the town of Karlovo

The project proposal envisages development of the following sites in the central part of Karlovo: "Waterfall" street. "Kableshkov" street. "Todor and Anna Pulevi" street. "Alexander Stamboliiski" street. "Druzhba" street . "Khan Asparuh" street, green spaces north of boulevard. "Liberation" to bl.№20 and №22 . "Druzhba" street, bl.№39 and №37 on boulevard. "Osvobojdenie" and bl.№35 and № 37 on the "Meden dol" street front outer green spaces along the "Al. Stamboliyski " street/ № 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37, 41, 43, 45, 47, 54, 64, 62 / str." Vasil Levski ". It is envisaged the pavement of these street to be repaired, to be created and restored green space on those sites, to improve conditions for access of disadvantaged people to the city center etc. The project includes activities for construction supervision, activities to promote the OPRG contribution to its implementation and independent financial audit of the implementation. The project implementation will result in significant improvement in the urban environment in the town of Karlovo and will support the implementation of the objectives set out in the Municipal Development Plan and IGPVR the municipality. Through the implementation of measures envisaged over 21 000 citizens of the town will have access to improved urban environment and their quality of life will increase. The proposal will lead to increasing the tourist potential of the town as the tourists visiting it will also be able to have access to the improved city centre. ThrThrough the realization of the planned interrelated activities, ensuring synergy effect will achieve lasting improvement of accessibility, security, environmental conditions and quality of life in the town of Karlovo.
