„Renovation and implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy measures and creation of accessible environment in the building of the Regional Police Department - Panagyurishte and District Services „Fire Safety and Population Protection“

The project proposal is part of the investment program for the implementation of an integrated plan for urban regeneration and development of the municipality of Panagyurishte 2014-2020. With its performance it will contribute to stimulating the economic development of the city and improving energy efficiency in public buildings. The project activities include renovation and repair of the administrative buildings of the Regional Police Directorate - Panagyurishte and the District Services „Fire Safety and Population Protection“. The object of intervention is a complex of two buildings interconnected and attached to a turbot. The building of Regional Police Directorate is a massive, five-storey reinforced concrete building, and of the District Services „Fire Safety and Population Protection“ is a massive, four-storey reinforced concrete building. During the implementation of the project, activities will be implemented in accordance with the requirements of the technical passport and the energy audit, including the provision of accessible architectural environment. The current project proposal aims to provide better working conditions for employees of Regional Police Directorate - Panagyurishte and the District Services „Fire Safety and Population Protection“ by improving the quality of working conditions and creation of a modern, ecological and energy-efficient working environment in the administrative building, as well as providing access for people with disabilities. The implementation of the project will lead to higher energy efficiency, it will directly contribute to lowering the consumption in a public building and it will improve the mobility of people with different disabilities. It will also contribute indirectly in lowering the emissions of greenhouse gases.
