The current project proposal envisages implementation of measures for increased energy efficiency of the Municipal Complex for Children, Peshtera town, 4 "G.Benkovski" Str. The building is a public municipal property with built-up area- 345 m2 and total built-up area- 690.97 m2, fifth category letter "a" under Law on Territorial Development (LTD) and Ord. №1/ 30.07.2003. The institution hosted in the building is of educational type, according to Rodinance Nr. RD-13-126 of 20.07.2009 of the Minister of Education and Science. Based on the conclusions of the technical passport, the current building’s status does not meet the requirements of Art. 169 of the LTD in terms of energy efficiency, safe operation, noise and environmental protection. In comparison to the other municipal buildings, the a.m. sites reveal extremely high level of necessity for renovation and energy savings potential. On this basis, the project proposal encompasses the implementation of the measures mentioned in the Technical Passport, which will lead to class "C" energy consumption and more than 60% energy efficiency of the building in compliance with the goals of the current procedure.
