Improving energy efficiency in municipal educational infrastructure - United Children Complex Provadia

The examined object is Municipal Children Complex. Its function is ancillary to education, related to school and extracurricular activities - activities: schools of dance, theatrical activities, vocal groups, clubs in fine arts, etc. The building has two floors with a basement and attic floor, massive with two entrances. The roof structure is wooden, resting on wooden beams and covered with tiles. The project provides complete thermal insulation of exterior walls of the building, replacement of wooden windows with triple glazing, the ceiling will make stone wool and the floor will be laid extruded polystyrene. The measures introduced would increase to class 'A' energy consumption. In some places there are shedding and failure of the structures, which necessitates their replacement with reinforced concrete. In the stone foundations water permeation is noticeable, which necessitates complete drainage of the building. It is necessary to perform activities on the existing floor structures: dismounting the beams between the basement, first and second floors and the construction of new steel-concrete slabs and their reinforcement with vertical column members for which Provadia Municipality will provide funds in the amount of 99 757,22 (ninety nine thousand seven hundred and fifty seven and twenty-two leva) including VAT, for additional construction works on the structural strengthening of the building which are ineligible for the project, but they are mandatory in view of the situation.
