Improving the living environment of buildings in the town of Devin - introduction of energy efficiency measures at the building of the Regional Service "Fire Safety and Population Protection"

The building which this project is aiming to restore is state property and it houses the Regional "Fire Safety and Population Protection" Service – town of Devin. It was built and put into operation in 1983. It is a public building of three floors and has a monolithic structure. There are three types of roof used on it: pitched with and without an air gap and flat with no air gap. The exterior walls are brick and ferroconcrete with plaster on top. The window frames are metal, PVC and wood. The floor is earth and outdoor air. The building has its own boiler plant located in the basement as primary heating system. The boiler was manufactured and installed in 2015 The energy-saving measures include the implementation of: 1. Thermal insulation of external walls 2. Thermal insulation of roofs 3. Thermal insulation of the floor 4. Replace old windows with a system of PVC / Al profiles and glazed windows 5. Replacement of the internal heating installation 6. Replacing lighting
