"Improving the energy efficiency of 8 civil buildings in town of Popovo"

The project is aimed at implementing energy efficiency measures in 8 civil buildings. The objects of intervention within the construction range of town of Popovo, who is designated as a level 4 support center of the national polycentric system, according to the The National Concept for Spatial Development 2013-2025 Project activities will contribute to the reduction of final energy consumption and indirectly - to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in these civil buildings with a total area of 12856.54 m2, adress: 1. 2 "15 January" street - 1240,37m2 2. 8/10 "Kalomenska" street - 933,63 m2 3. 15 “Mihail Madzharov” street - 1387,76 m2 4. "Rusalia" bl. 24-25 - 2644,22 m2 5. "Rusalia”, bl. 41 - 1954,40 m2 6. "Rusalia”, bl. 49 - 1828,44 m2 7. “Mladost” bl. 104- 1643,52 m2 8. “Mladost” bl. 106 - 1224,20 m2 On the basis of pre-designed reports from energy efficiency audits and technical characteristics of the buildings in the project proposal are set out mandatory and accompanying events, through which the energy performance of buildings will improve, reducing energy costs, improving the overall appearance of the institutions, creating better living conditions and thermal comfort for the citizens of the town. With the project implementation is expected annual reduction of the electricity to be around of 2 001 940 KWh /y, and the annual reduction in greenhouse gas emissions to be around 211,42 t. CO2 /y.
