Increasing the energy efficiency of buildings from educational infrastructure in the Krumovgrad town

The project aims to increase the energy efficiency of municipal buildings from educational infrastructure. In the project proposal included two educational institutions of the Krumovgrad town-Elementary school "Vasil Levski" and kindergarten "Yuri Gagarin". In the area of Krumovgrad town School "Vasil Levski" is the only school that includes students in elementary school. In Kindergarten "Yuri Gagarin" educate and train children from 3 to 7 years old from the Krumovgrad town and the nearby villages. Energy efficiency measures in buildings subject to intervention will be executed on the basis of conducted energy efficiency audits, accompanied by a valid certificate of energy performance of the building and inspection to establish the technical characteristics of the building with established technical passport. On stage realization of the project proposal will be made projects under the Law on Spatial Planning and Ordinance 4 from 2001years on the scope and content of investment projects. The investment project will include all mandatory energy saving measures prescribed in the energy audit, including measures for utilization of renewable energy sources and all required measures prescribed in the technical investigation. Activities for energy upgrade will extend the life of the building, reduce maintenance costs and encourage people to remain living in small settlements. As a result of their implementation will increase the energy efficiency of the building will be reduced electricity costs, which will lead to free up resources that can be reallocated for other activities. Improving the energy efficiency of the building is one of the main prerequisites for improving the quality of educational services, reducing energy consumption and environmental protection.
