Introduction of energy efficiency measures in a building of the cultural infrastructure of Botevgrad Town

The main objective of the project proposal is to increase energy efficiency in public buildings of cultural infrastructure, in particular Community Centre "Hristo Botev 1884" in the town of Botevgrad and improve the working conditions of employees and amateur groups and bring the building into compliance with the regulations for accessible environment. The building of Community Centre "Hristo Botev 1884" was put into operation in 1976 and at present is in a poor condition. In order to bring it in line with modern requirements for energy efficiency, accessible environment and other requirements the buildings needs overhaul, which includes: implementation of energy efficiency measures, including thermal insulation of exterior walls, roof and oriel, replacement of windows joinery, repair of lighting electrical installation and implementation of energy saving lighting throughout the building, replacement of pipes and boiler/s in the large hall, replacing ventilation equipment and others. Within the project additional construction works will be implemented related to the implementation of energy efficiency measures and restoration of the original condition impaired due to renovation. The main results of the project are linked to the achievement of energy class "A" of the community centre building, energy savings for 60.15% of the current consumption of the building and reduction of yearly emissions generated by the operation of the building with 108,84 t/year.
