Increasing energy efficiency in multifamily buildings in the Krumovgrad town

The project proposal is aimed at increasing energy efficiency in multifamily buildings in the Krumovgrad town. In the project proposal included three buildings located on the "Rodopi" street № 2, "Bulgaria" square № 7 and "Vasil Levski" street № 6. Energy efficiency measures in residential buildings will be executed on the basis of conducted energy efficiency audits, accompanied by a valid certificate of energy performance of the building and inspection to establish the technical characteristics of the building with established technical passport. On stage realization of the project proposal will be developed investment projects under the Law on Spatial Planning and Ordinance 4 from 2001 on the scope and content of investment projects. The investment projects will include all mandatory energy saving measures prescribed in the energy audit, including measures for utilization of renewable energy sources and all required measures prescribed in the technical investigation. Activities for energy upgrade will provide better living conditions, thermal comfort and higher quality of living environment. Energy efficiency projects in buildings will contribute to achieving the national target for increasing energy efficiency - namely achieving a higher level of energy efficiency and indirectly - to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Investments in energy efficiency measures in residential buildings in the Krumovgrad town will be a prerequisite for improving their building fund to create affordable and attractive housing. Improving the housing stock in the Krumovgrad town will lead to better air quality and improve living conditions in them.
