Introduction of energy efficiency measures in buildings of the educational infrastructure of Botevgrad

The current project proposal “Introduction of energy efficiency measures in buildings of the educational infrastructure of Botevgrad” is under priority axis 2 “Support for energy efficiency in support centers in out peripheral areas" of the Operational Programme “Regions in growth”. Within the project energy efficiency measures will be introduced and executed in 3 buildings from the educational infrastructure of Municipality of Botevgrad. The necessary energy saving measures for each building are stated in reports from the energy efficiency audit, accompanied by a valid energy performance certificate made by a licensed for this person. The measures aim to increase the class of energy and reach a larger percentage of energy savings. All three buildings, object of intervention - the building of Professional Mathematic Highschool (PMH) and its gym are in a poor condition, and the building of all-day kindergarten “Detelina" due to its poor condition is not functioning since 2010. For the successful implementation of the project the beneficiary - Municipality of Botevgrad will hold procedures as required by the PPA for selection of contractors for the project activities, will participate with its representatives in the project team and will control the strict implementation of the planned activities. As a result of the implemented project on the territory of the Municipality will be established another full day kindergarten serving the needs of the residents of the town of Botevgrad, and the surrounding area. One of the emblematic buildings of the town of Botevgrad - the building of PMH, with the gym to it will be reconstructed and renovated, meeting the modern requirements. The project for the three buildings provides measures to improve the access of people with disabilities to the buildings.
