"Implementation of energy renovation measures of public buildings in the town of Mezdra - local police station

The building of the Regional Department of Mezdra was built in 1965. Because of the long lifetime as a result of natural wear and tear of materials performance of the building are significantly understated. The roof on the original project was flat, but later on it was built wooden sloped roof. The building windows for the most part of the department house have been changed, except the meeting room and adjacent to its premises. At the current moment the building is heated with gas boiler with internal heating cast iron radiators and pipes of metal pipes without insulation. The building does not meet modern requirements for energy efficiency in buildings. In the present state the initial energy consumption in the building 362840 kWh/y, and the building falls within the class of energy D scale of energy consumption. In the implementation of all proposed energy saving measures, the total gross annual energy consumption will be reduced by 26,25% to 267582 kWh/y and the building will fall within the class of B scale energy consumption. The proposed package of energy conservation measures will result in a significant environmental effect , carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by 20,1 tons / year . The implementation of the planned energy saving measures will visibly reduce the operating costs of the building will significantly improve the comfort of the employees of the police administration and increase their readiness for 24-hour reaction in case of an extreme emergency or natural disaster.
