"Improving of energy efficiency in multifamily and one family residential buildings in the town of Mezdra."

This project aims a comprehensive intervention in buildings of 19 multi-family households and one family household in the town of Mezdra. The majority of buildings are with 2 floors and 3 floors, filled with concrete slabs. The external adjust elements of most of them are masonry single solid bricks. The roofs of the buildings are wooden pitched. Overall the buildings are existing for more than 30 years. There are implemented partially measures for renewal of objects, such as new windows of some of the facades, laid insulation of 5 cm outer surface. The type of the heating in the buildings is realized with individual gas boilers, electricity and wood stoves. From the conducted energy analysis is identified a potential for reducing energy consumption. This is due to the heat losses through the envelopes. At the time of the audit nearly all buildings fall in the energy class "G". A potential for reduction of actually necessary costs for heating and cooling by an average of 50% for the building, is set. There is a package of three energy-saving measures for each building. This will achieve the greatest economic impact, as the necessary investments for the introduction of energy saving measures are average overall payback period - 10 years. After the implementation of the measures, the buildings will undergo energy class "C" with sustainable use of energy carriers. According OPRD 2014- 2020 Guidelines for Applicants procedure BG16RFOP001-2.001 project is aimed at implementing the thematic objective 4 " Supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy in all sectors," according to the General Regulation 1303/2013 .
