„Renovation and implementation of energy efficiency measures in the building of Regional Court Zlatograd and Regional Prosecutor’s Office Zlatograd"

On the territory of city of Zlatograd functions institutional structures of the judiciary and law enforcement authority, which also serve the territory of the neighboring municipality Nedelino. All buildings which house these structures have been proposed for intervention in this proceeding, in order to achieve greater comfort and working environment of their employees and convenience for citizens using their services. This project proposal aims to increase energy efficiency and to extend the life cycle of the last of four public buildings of state administration in the town of Zlatograd. It houses the Regional Court and Regional Prosecutor's Office. The building was built in 1940, but in 1996 was repaired as a result of which it has upgraded and renovated. At present it has three floors with an area of 431.26 square meters. An economic activity is not operated in the building. It is apparent from the reports of energy efficiency that currently the building has energy class “B”, but also has the potential to generate a high percentage of energy savings. Savings can be achieved after entering the prescribed in the report energy efficiency measures. Structural stability of the building will also be improved after the implementation of the mandatory and recommended measures prescribed in the technical report, which will ensure the extension it’s life cycle. After completing the prescribed measures for energy efficiency, the class of energy consumption of the building will rise to class "A" and the energy savings will be more than 60%. The Municipality of Zlatograd is the lead partner in this project proposal for the renovation of the building of the Regional Court and Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Zlatograd. Supreme Judicial Council, which is the primary administrator of budget funds is a partner in the project proposal.
