"Improving the energy efficiency of 11 pieces residential buildings in the town of Popovo"

The project is aimed at implementing energy efficiency measures in 8 civil bildings. The objects of intervention within the construction range of town Popovo, who is designated as a level4 support center of the national polycentric sistem, according to the National Concept for Spatial development 2013-2025. Project acivities will contribute to the reduction of final energy consumption and incredibly – to reduce greenhuose gas emitions in these civil buildings with a total area of 18 891,95 m2, adress: 1. № 1 "Tsar Osvoboditel" street - 1 396 m2; 2. "Mladost" bl. 15 ent. A, B, C - 2 685 m2; 3. "Mladost" bl. 102, ent. A B C D E - 2 254 m2; 4. № 10 "Bratia Miladinovi" - 825 m2; 5. № 1 "General Baranov" - 2 095 m2; 6. № 3 "Bratia Miladinovi" - 1 238,66 m2; 7. № 75 "Dimitar Blagoev" № 75, ent. A and B - 1 271,29 m2; 8. "Mladost" bl. 116 ent. A and B - 976 m2; 9. № 51 "Dimitar Blagoev" - 2 095 m2; 10. № 45 "Dimitar Blagoev" - 2 095 m2; 11. № 125 "Bulgaria" ent. A and B - 1 961m2. On the basis of pre-designed reports from energy efficiency audits and technical characteristics of the buildings in the project proposal are set out mandatory and accompanying events, through which the energy performance of buildings will improve, reducing energy costs, improving the overall appearance of the institutions, creating better living conditions and thermal comfort for the citizens of the town. With the project implementation is expected annual reduction of the electricity to be around of 4 882 530 KWh /y, and reducing of greenhouse gas emissions to 301,93 t. CO2 /y.
