Implementation of energy efficiency measures in the administrative building of the municipality of Botevgrad

The current project proposal „Introduction of energy efficiency measures in the administrative building of Municipality of Botevgrad“ is under PA 2 ,,Support for energy efficiency in support centers in outlying areas” of OP ”Regions in growth“. Within the project for the administrative building of Municipality of Botevgrad will be undertaken and implemented measures for increasing its energy efficiency and measures connected with improving the access for disabled people in correspondence with the requirements of Ord. № 4/01.07.2009 and other measures envisaged in the technical passport of the building. The necessary energy saving measures for the building are reflected in a report of energy efficiency audit, accompanied by a valid energy performance certificate made by licensed for that person. Mandatory and recommended measures which are envisaged in the Technical passport of the building will be implemented. The measures aim to increase the class of energy consumption, increase energy savings and ensuring an accessible environment for people with disabilities. The building, site of intervention, is in poor technical condition. The building was built in 1971 and since then no major repairs are made. As a result of implementing the project in the municipality in the administrative building of the municipality of Botevgrad will be created better conditions for employees in the building and better conditions for visitors to the building, namely 35279 inhabitants of the municipality of Botevgrad (big part using the services of the municipal administration and library), as well as property owners in the municipality of Botevgrad. The reconstructed and renewed building will meet the current requirements for administrative buildings. The energy consumption and heating loss during the winter season and costs for heating and air conditioning will be reduced. The appearance not only of the building, but also of the central town part, where it is situated, will be improved.
