Implementation of energy efficiency measures in multifamily residential buildings in the town of Botevgrad - Stage 2

The current project “Introduction of energy efficiency measures in buildings from the residential infrastructure of town of Botevgrad, Stage II” is under PA 2 “Support for energy efficiency in support centers in outlying areas” of OP ”Regions in growth”. Within the project for 5 buildings from the residential infrastructure of Municipality of Botevgrad with decision of the general meeting of the condominium ownership will be taken and implemented measures to increase energy efficiency and measures to improve access for people with disabilities, in accordance with the requirements of Ordinance №4/01.07.2009. The necessary energy saving measures for each building are reflected in reports from energy efficiency audits, accompanied by a valid energy performance certificate made by person licensed for this purpose. The measures aim to increase the class of energy consumption, to increase energy savings and to ensure an accessible environment. All the 5 multifamily residential buildings (RB), subject of intervention, are in a poor technical condition- RB ”Karavelov”, located on 50 “Karavelov”Str., RB “Lopyanska gora”, located in housing estate “Vasil Levski “, bl. 7, entrances 1, 2, 3, RB “Izvor” and “Lenin”, located 55 “Treti mart”blvd., entrances 2 and 3, RB “Benkovska”, located on 17 “Benkovska” Str. and RB “Domat”, located on 57 “17 November”Str. For the successful implementation of the project the Beneficiary will carry out public procurement procedures in accordance with the Public Procurement Act for selection of contractors for the project activities. The Beneficiary will participate with its representatives in the project team and will monitor the strict implementation of the envisaged activities. As a result from the project implementation on the territory of the Municipality in 5 multifamily buildings in town of Botevgrad will be created good living conditions for 126 inhabitants. The reconstructed and renovated buildings will meet the modern requirements.
