"Energy- saving measures in buildings of educational infrastructure in the town of Mezdra "

Within the project Municipality of Mezdra will implement complex energy savings measures in the key city educational infrastructure - 5 numbers: kindergartens: Kindergarten 1 Kindergarten 2 and schools OU "Cyril and Methodius", SOU "Ivan Vazov" and OU "Hristo Botev". Over the past 15 years in the buildings repaired solutions and structural upgrades have been partially implemented, but not in a full scale. Under the energy audit is known that there are still heat loss through the surrounding external elements - walls and worn internal heating systems, so the buildings do not fully meet modern requirements for energy efficiency. In the present state normalized energy consumption of the buildings is above average, and the buildings are in class of energy consumption C and D of the scale of energy consumption. In the implementation of all proposed energy saving measures, the total gross annual energy consumption will be reduced to 551671 kWh / y and buildings will fall into Class "B" and "C" scale of energy consumption. The proposed package of energy saving measures will result in a significant environmental effect, carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by 123,98 tons/year. It is also planned to be installed a renewable energy source - solar domestic hot water. With the implementation of the planned energy saving measures will fully solve energy and heating problems of the sites and will significantly improve the comfort of adolescent children, students and staff. It will significantly reduce operating expenses during the heating period.
