Increasing the energy efficiency of the building of the District Fire Safety and Population Protection Service (RSPBZN) - Elhovo

The project proposal is aimed at Increasing the energy efficiency of the building of the District Fire Safety and Population Protection Service (RSPB) - Elhovo. The main building was completed and put into operation in 1958, after which two garages were built into the main building, one of which was made monolithic and the other one was made of prefabricated reinforced concrete structure, enclosed and covered by panels. Functionally, it is a massive two-storey administrative building and two garages for fire-fighting equipment. The energy efficiency measures of the building will be implemented on the basis of an energy efficiency audit accompanied by a valid energy performance certificate for the building concerned and an audit to establish the technical characteristics of the building with a technical passport. At the stage of application, an investment project was made in the "technical design" phase, in accordance with the Territory Planning Act and Ordinance 4 of 2001 on the scope and content of the investment projects. The investment project includes all mandatory energy saving measures prescribed in the energy efficiency audit, incl. measures for the recovery of renewable energy sources and all mandatory measures prescribed in the technical audit. The implementation of the project activities in the administrative building will contribute to the energy consumption class "C". The energy saving measures envisaged under the project and the mandatory measures for the examination of the technical characteristics will be implemented on the basis of the audits carried out for the administrative building. As a result of their implementation, the energy efficiency of the building will be increased, electricity costs will be reduced, which will lead to the release of resources to be redirected to other activities and will stimulate people to live in small settlements.
