Introduction of energy efficiency measures and renovation of public buildings, the municipality of Novi pazar, Novi pazar,. "Oborishte" №5

This project proposal includes activities to improve the energy efficiency of a public building with administrative and cultural functions in the city of Novi Pazar, contributing to the reduction of the final energy consumption and indirectly - to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions in the small towns - the centers of the polycentric system , according to NCRC. The measures will also have an additional effect as they will ensure cost-effective operation of the public building, which will allow them to continue their management and maintenance sustainably. The implementation of the activities envisaged in the project proposal will contribute to: • Achieving energy consumption class "A" in the municipal building. • Reduce energy costs. • A higher level of energy efficiency that directly contributes to reducing final energy consumption and indirectly - to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in small towns • Achieving the indicative national 2020 targets for energy savings set out in the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan 2014-2020; • Ensure better air quality, living conditions and working environment in accordance with sustainable development criteria; • Improving performance to extend the life cycle of the building; • Maintaining the traditional functions of small towns - supporting centers related to the provision of public services not only to the local population but also to the population of the surrounding peripheral areas. The energy saving measures foreseen under the project and the mandatory measures for the examination of the technical characteristics will be implemented on the basis of the audits carried out for the respective building.
