Energy efficiency improvement of multifamily residential buildings in town of Troyan with addresses: r.c. Lagat, res. bl 11 "Hisar"; r.c. Mladost, res. bl 5

The project proposal is aimed at energy efficiency improvement of two multifamily residential buildings in town of Troyan, as follows: - multifamily residential building with address r.c. Lagat, res. bl 11 "Hisar" with 71 individual residential sites and 7 ground rooms; - multifamily residential building with address r.c. Mladost, res. bl 5 with 24 individual residential sites. Within the project will be implemented: - all mandatory energy efficiency measures for the buildings as per the respective EE Surveys – thermal insulation of outer walls, floor and roof, replacement of facade windows, replacement of luminaires with energy-saving, as well as accompanying construction works; - construction restoration/reinforcement measures prescribed as mandatory in Construction Surveys of the buildings; - construction works related to repair of common parts of the buildings, achieving more than 60 % energy savings of primary energy; - lightning protection and grounding installation; - measures related to improved access for people with disabilities to the buildings. The planned project activities will contribute to improvement of energy and operating characteristics of residential buildings and to reduction of end energy consumption. Lower energy characteristics of buildings require undertaking of energy efficiency measures, even more their implementation leads to direct effect on reducing greenhouse emissions. Improved ecological indicators, as a result of the savings of harmful emissions in the atmosphere will directly and tangibly improve quality of life and environmental conditions in town of Troyan.
