Increasing the energy efficiency of residential buildings in city of Berkovitsa - stage 4

The current project proposal is aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of three residential buildings in the territory of Berkovitsa by implementing energy saving measures.The buildings were selected after an information campaign.The project proposal envisages the implementation of all mandatory energy-saving measures from the energy audit of residential buildings subject to project intervention and the achievement of at least energy class C of each building.One multifamily residential building has an address, Berkovitsa town,3 Hristo Botev str.,Bl.Zvezda,UPI I,sq.65 accord.to the plan of Berkovitsa,PI 03928.511.517.The building was put into operation in 1979.The other building is with address Zaryanitsa,block 31,32 and 33,UPI I,sq.1 accord to the plan of Berkovitsa,PI 03928.510.3.2,03928.510.3.3,03928.510.3.4.The building was put into operation in 1990.The third building is with address Zaryanitsa,bl.15,bl.16 and bl.17,UPI I,sq.6 according to the plan of Berkovitsa,PI 03928.510.16.1,PI 03928.510.16.2,PI 03928.510.16.3.The building was put into operation in 1979-1980.The project activities will help reduce the cost of maintenance of the facility and the cost of energy and heating,as well as improve the comfort and energy characteristics of thebuildings.An additional effect of the measures will be to ensure cost-effective operation, which will allow its sustainable management and maintenance over time.The following energy-saving measures are envisaged and the achievement of energy class A and B respectively of the three buildings:Measure B1-Thermal insulation of exterior walls; Measure B2-Roof insulation; Measure B3-Floor thermal insulation; Measure B4-Replacement of windows; Measure C1-Optimization of the lighting system-installation of LED lights in the common parts.The energy audit revealed that the heat losses through the surrounding exterior elements-walls and roof are large and that the building does not meet the current energy efficiency requirements.
