Renovation and modernization of the Vocational School for Stonemasonry – village of Kunino

The Vocational School for Stonemasonry in the village of Kunino provides professional education in the field of stonemasonry. Essential for meeting the specific requirements of the school is to renovate and modernize its main building and transform an existing building into a new multifunctional hall for sports and events. The project provides for energy efficiency measures, including construction of a boiler room (equipped with a new boiler for heating and connection of buildings through external connections) and internal heating installation, renovation of the school building incl. accessible environment for people with disabilities, revision and connection of the existing fire alarm system, rehabilitation of the main switchboard and the distribution switchboards, reconstruction of the existing canteen building into a sports hall, improvement of the adjacent yards and sports ground, and construction of a modular wastewater treatment plant, which is certified and meets sanitary requirements. The project proposal contributes to the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region by promoting cultural diversity and better education.
