"Update and modernization of the regional educational infrastructure through improvement of the material-technical basis of 11 Public Professional high schools in the system of MES in the regions of Plovdiv, Smolyan and Kardzhali"

The economical development in the South central region is comparatively stable. In the region prevails the contribution of the service sector. The industrial sector and inovations development take an important part in the local economy. The agrarian sector has an important share, higher than the average for the country. The tourism development in the region also is one of the important economical business branches. The activities in the current project proposition aim to improve the educational process, to introduce new methods of education and to ensure easier integrity and socialization in the future generations. With the updating of the amortized and morally old basis of the professional schools in the region, MES strives to encourage the protection of traditional and the creation of new professional specializations for the regions of Plovdiv, Smolyan and Kardzhali. A crucial moment of keeping the young generation in the country borders and the business development in the region is the necessity of encouragement in the bond between the professional education, high education and real business. With investments in the update and modernization of the school cabinets, laboratories, sports installations and school workshops the following schools will have an improved educational infrastructure: PS of economics "Aleko Konstantinov" - Kardzhali PS of electrotechnics and electronics - Plovdiv PS of architecture, construct and geodesy "Architect Kamen Petkov" National school of trades - Plovdiv PS of tourism "Prof. doctor Asen Zlatarov" PS of transport "Gotse Deltchev" PS "General Vladimir Zaimov" - Sopot PS of mechanotechnics "Professor Tsvetan Lazarov" - Plovdiv PS of home appliances - Plovdiv PS "Tzar Ivan Asen II" - Asenovgrad PS of economics "Karl Marx" Smolyan
