Major renovation of PGSS schoolhouse, Nova Zagora.

The project proposal envisages the improving of energy efficiency measures in the building of PGSS schoolhouse and separate building of a gymnasium, located in Nova Zagora. The planned activities include introducing of the building energy-saving measures and implementing those reflected in the technical passport guidelines, as well as recommendations in order to reach at least class energy "C" in the building and introduction of measures to provide an accessible environment for people with disabilities, prescribed by the consultant who has performed an energy audit of the building. The improved performance of the buildings within the scope of intervention will significantly reduce operating costs for the buildings and will contribute to the extension of their life cycles. The project is aimed at implementing the following thematic objectives in accordance with the General Regulation №1303 / 2013: Thematic Objective 4 "Supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy in all sectors". Interventions within the project proposal will contribute to achieving the indicative national targets for energy savings in 2020 under the National Action Plan on Energy Efficiency 2014-2020. he activities for energy upgrade will extend the life of the building, reduce maintenance costs and help reduce greenhouse gases will stimulate people to remain living in small settlements through improved cultural and social environment. Will ensure equal access to one of the main educational institutions in the municipality of Nova Zagora. By supporting aims adequately addressing of the problems associated with the increased migration to large and medium cities, better quality of life and proposed educational services, modernization of public infrastructure in Nova Zagora and stimulating the urban-rural connections.
