Reconstruction , modernization and implementation of energy efficiency measures for the building of Professional School of Veterinary Medicine "Ivan P. Pavlov" , city of Stara Zagora

The Municipality of Stara Zagora is a concrete beneficiary under a grant procedure BG16RFOP001-3.002 "Support for vocational schools in Bulgaria" relating to investment priority 3 “Regional educational infrastructure” of OP “Regions in growth” 2014 - 2020. In this regard, The Municipality of Stara Zagora will implement the project „Reconstruction , modernization and implementation of energy efficiency measures for the building of Professional School of Veterinary Medicine "Ivan P. Pavlov" , city of Stara Zagora“. The project is within the scope of a predominantly public function zone II of the 2.1.12 in Integrated plan for urban regeneration and development of Stara Zagora. The project proposal activities provided aim to upgrade and improve the building of Professional School of Veterinary Medicine “Ivan P. Pavlov. The renovation of the facilities will lead to an overall improvement of the learning process and will facilitate the introduction of new educational methods to rare and retain the young people’s interest. The improved conditions on campus, modern classrooms and offices will have further a favorably impact on students' motivation for better and more active learning to find employment in the labor market. Interventions will directly contribute to reducing the number of early school drops and will create preconditions for increasing the share of graduates. The activities which will improve the disabled people access are a prerequisite for social inclusion and prevention of the isolation of this social group. With implementation of energy efficiency measures the project will contribute to the climate change policy, the reduction of energy consumption and bad emissions. Professional School of Veterinary Medicine “Ivan P. Pavlov is about to become a national school but still has no such status.
