Improving the quality of vocational education through modernization of educational infrastructure in six vocational high- schools in city of Burgas

The project proposal aims at establishing new opportunities for vocational training of students of six vocational schools in city of Burgas, as well as providing modern facilities for practicing sports indoors and outdoors. The main activities planned in the project proposal include the implementation of construction works for reconstruction of school infrastructure, as well as providing new furnishing and equipment for school rooms and laboratories and delivery of advanced software and equipment for educational purposes. 4225 students, 321 people teaching and 103 people non-teaching staff will benefit from project results, and in the forthcoming years, these numbers are will rise, because of the positive trend that has been observed to increase the number of students in vocational schools and the increased attractiveness of schools as a result of the project implementation. The results, which are expected to be achieved, namely a comprehensive modernization of educational material and technical infrastructure will have a positive impact on raising the attractiveness of vocational education among children and their parents and especially for establishing opportunities for practical work of students in environment close to the working one.
