Reconstruction and Modernization of Vocational School of Veterinary Medicine "Prof. - Georgi Pavlov " Dobrich city

Development of education by building, upgrading, modernizing and improving the quality and access to educational infrastructures is one of the main priorities of Dobrich Municipality set out in the Municipal Development Plan of Dobrich Municipality for 2014-2020. The is also the main objective of the project proposal Reconstruction and Modernization of Vocational School of Veterinary Medicine" Prof. Dr. Georgi Pavlov "Dobrich". Official statistics shows that for the past three school years the number of early school leavers increases in Dobrich. Vicational School of Veterinary Medicine "Prof. Dr. Georgi Pavlov" Dobrich "(Capturas) has 43 years of history and is one of three specialized schools for teaching Veterinary Medicine in the country. It is an educational institution of regional importance because students from other neighboring municipalities are trained in it. The school is located in a region where a major priority in the development of the economy is agriculture and food industry. With the implementation of the planned activities will increase convenience for the users of building Capturas in relation to household sanitation, optimized heating, and will improve the learning process - its attractiveness, by modernizing classrooms. Study halls, places for sports and recreation will be repaired, as well as yards to improve the quality of the learning environment, enhancing its attractiveness, reducing the number of early school leaving and increasing health awareness. The learning process and its attractiveness will be improved by modernizing classrooms; operating costs will be redusced (mainly related to the implementation of key priorities). Thus, the project will contribute to achieving the primary objective of this grant scheme - to create conditions for modern educational services by improving the education infrastructure.
