Repair and renovation of the Professional School of Food Technology "Prof.. Dr. Georgi Pavlov " district Ilinden"

The Project Proposal will establish new opportunities for professional qualification of the students of Professional high school for food processing technologies “Prof. Georgi Pavlov” in Sofia as well as providing of modern facilities for training practices. The basic planned activities include reconstruction of the school facilities, provision of new furnishing and equipment of a professional laboratory and delivery of modern program products and technologies for the goals of training process. 211 students, 16 pedagogues and 6 non pedagogue staff will benefit the results of the project and in the upcoming years these numbers will increase because of the positive trend for raising the number of students in this professional school. The results expected, namely comprehensive modernization of the training facilities, will effect positively the attractiveness of the professional education for students and their parents and mostly for establishment of opportunities for practical education of students in terms and conditions maximum close to professional environment. Activities, included in the frames of the project: - Technical design, supervision and reconstruction in “Prof. Georgi Pavlov” professional high school; - Delivery and installation of furnishing and equipment; - Construction supervision; - Audit; - Information and publicity. A team responsible for the comprehensive management and implementation of the project will be assigned by issuing an order of the Mayor of Sofia Municipality.
