"Improvement of the educational infrastructure through introduction of energy efficiency measures and renovation of the building of the Vocational School of Agriculture in Novi Pazar"

This project proposal includes activities to improve the material and technical base and introduction of energy efficiency of the Vocational School of Agriculture in Novi Pazar, contributing to the overall modernization of the specific educational infrastructure and reducing final energy consumption and indirectly - to reduce emissions. greenhouse gases in small towns - reference centers of the polycentric system, according to the NCSD. The measures will have an additional effect, as they will ensure cost-effective operation of the building, which will allow for sustainable management and maintenance. The implementation of the activities set in the project proposal will contribute to: • Improving the educational infrastructure. • Reaching energy consumption class "B" in the municipal building. • Reduction of energy costs. • Higher level of energy efficiency, which directly contributes to the reduction of final energy consumption and indirectly - to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in small towns • Achieving the indicative national energy saving targets for 2020, set in the National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency 2014-2020; • Ensuring better air quality, living and working conditions in accordance with the criteria for sustainable development; • Improving the performance characteristics to extend the life cycle of the building; • Preservation of the traditional functions of small towns - support centers related to the provision of vocational training, not only for the local population, but also for the population of the surrounding peripheral areas. The energy saving measures envisaged under the project and the obligatory measures from the inspection of the technical characteristics will be implemented on the basis of the performed inspections for the respective building.
