Building of modern educational infrastructure in "University of food technologies - Plovdiv"

The project is oriented to interventions with designation of building a modern educational infrastructure in the "University of food technologies - Plovdiv". The objects of intervention are Educational corpuses Block 1 and Block 2, situated on the territory of UFT. They are admissible according to the applying terms of reference on procedure BG16RF001-3.003 "Support for the high schools in Bulgaria" because they comply the requirement to be used for education of students from prioritized specialties: "Food technologies" and "Biotechnologies", fixed for support on OPRG 2014-2020. There are envisaged construction-mounting works, executing the stipulated measures from the construction and energy efficiency investigations. The objective is to be achieved renovation and modernization of the buildings.The measures will ensure better vital conditions, heat comfort and higher quality of the educational environment. There will be achieved a higher level of energy efficiency of the educational buildings and lower energy expenditures. The exploitation characteristics which extend the vital cycle of the buildings will be improved. There will be achieved an accessible architecture environment in compliance with the accessible population environment requirements, including people with disabilities.The project will contribute to the innovation of the material and technical base and will ensure modern educational conditions for the university. The university will increase its competitiveness and attractiveness. There will be created an opportunity for organization of high-quality educational activity in accordance with the best traditions of the higher education and the contemporary world trends. There will be attracted foreign students, post-graduates and PhD students for education in the University. New forms for preparation and better qualification of the specialists with higher education will be achieved.
