Upgrading and modernizing educational infrastructure of the University of Forestry, Sofia

This project proposal aims at the modernization of the UF priority departments "Forestry" and "Earth Sciences" via interventions in building "A", in which educational services for both departments are provided. The following activities should be performed: 1. Organization activities, accounting and management of the project, including the following sub-activities: 1.1. Creating a project management team: 1.2. Preparation of tender and contract documents, tendering and contract award 1.3. Continuous administrative, financial and technical management, control and accountability during the implementation of project activities; 2. Construction work execution for refurbishment, change of use and reconstruction of the roof space of Building A, FU-Sofia to provide new classrooms for educational purposes, improve the architectural environment and to implement the measures prescribed by the energy-efficiency audit so the building to achieve “C “class for energy performance according to Regulation No 7/2004 on energy efficiency, preserving heat and saving energy in buildings. 3. Construction supervision during the construction period in compliance with all relevant building regulations and quality standards. 4. Author supervision during the execution of construction works that guarantees proper design implementation. 5. Procurement of Classroom Equipment for the newly educational facilities to provide the proper education services and better meet the contemporary education needs. 6. Obtaining an Operational/Occupancy Permit in use with all relevant building regulations. 7. Providing the proper project publicity to inform the public of the European Union's financial support.
