Renovation and modernization of education infrastructure at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy

Basic needs of the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG) are related to: -Poor state of the material and technical base, including the gymnasium; -The deepening demographic crisis and open markets of the higher education which have increasingly negative impact on the number of students; -The lack of specially adapted bathrooms for disabled people in the building of the Main building; -The lack of enough good technological base for practical training of students. The main task of this project proposal is to meet exactly these needs of students. During the preparations of the project were identified these 4 target groups: -Students, full-time education; -Students, part-time education; -Foreign students; -Students with disabilities. The main objective of this project proposal is to create conditions for modern educational services in the field of higher education in the UACEG. Other objectives are to increase the attractiveness of UACEG among students and ensuring equal access for all to the Higher Education at UACEG. The expected results that will achieve this project proposal are: -Improvement of the material and technical base at UACEG; -Cessation the negative trends of reducing the number of students from the priority field; -Improving the conditions for accessible environment for people with disabilities; -Improving the the link between business and higher education by improving the practical training of students. Besides the activities Project Management and Information and Publicity, the project will include the following activities: 1. Execution of repairs of Unit 11-West wing (Main Building) and CNILHI; 2. Carrying out reconstruction and repair Gymnasium with service rooms; 3. Improvement of the adjacent yard space between the objects of intervention; 4. Delivery and installation of equipment for the educational process in UACEG.
