"Establishing Public support center and Day-care support center for children with disabilities and their families in the town of Veliki Preslav"

The implementation of the current project proposal will contribute to providing necessary infrastructure for establishing new social services in the community, aimed mainly towards disabled children and their families. This will be achieved by implementing repair works, restructuring of spaces and modernization of a municipal building, in which will be established Public support center and Day-care support center for children with disabilities and their families, as indicated in the Map of services to support in community and family-like environment and the Map of resident social services. This will widen the spectrum of community-supplied services and guarantee long-term social inclusion of children living in isolation, because of their permanent need of social care. Currently, the object of intervention is an abandoned building which housed children day-care center up to the year 1998. The structure is solid, two-floored and has 1 149 square meters of total floorage, including basement. In the vicinity of the building there are three schools, a hospital and some park areas. The main activities include: 1. implementation of engineering, including: a) technical project preparation; b) exercising authors's supervision; c) implementing construction works; e) delivering and installing furniture and equipment; 2. implementing conformity assessment; 3. exercising construction supervision; 4. technical passport drawing; 5. introducing building into service. The expected results are: 1. implemented engineering, including: a) prepared technical project; b) exercised authors's supervision; c) implemented construction works, including: e) delivered and installed furniture and equipment; 2. implemented conformity assessment; 3. exercised construction supervision; 4. drawn technical passport; 5. introduced building into service.
