Day care center for children with disabilities and their families in town of Lukovit

With the project proposal “Day care center for children with disabilities and their families” Lukovit Municipality continues to implement the policies for deinstitutionalization of children in Bulgaria .The project will help the reconstruction of the already existing “Day care center for children with disabilities” and “Center for social rehabilitation and integration of children and individuals” and combining them into a new service, which will provide day care and consulting services for children with disabilities and their families. The project foresees delivery and installation of furniture and equipment , adapted for children with disabilities. The project by part “Interior and Furnishing” is coordinated with The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. The project includes the mandatory activities of “Organization and Management” and “Information and Communication”, according to the Unified Manual of the beneficiary on following the information and communication rules for 2014 – 2020. The new service “Day care center for children with disabilities and their families” will have a capacity of 30 seats for day care and 60 seats for consulting services, according to the Map of community and family support services.
