Deinstitutionalization of social services for children in Strazhitsa Municipality

The project proposal provides for the construction of a "Transitional dwelling for children aged 15-18" With a total capacity of 8 persons (places), located in a residential area in the town of Strazhitsa and repair of Day Center for Children and Young People with Disabilities Gorski Senovets. The transitional dwelling will be for children aged 15-18, with a long institutional stay and unable to live in their biological family, adolescents who have dropped out of the education system but are motivated to graduate and start work. By providing the social service "Transitional Home", the following activities will be implemented: creating conditions for assistance, mutual assistance, effective protection and social integration of consumers; Implementing activities to achieve social inclusion; Providing a complete and independent lifestyle in an appropriate transition environment with the possibility of support and expression. The building will conform to urban architecture and will harmonize the environment in the area where it will be built will not stand out and look like a special, Ie it will correspond to the general architectural style or to the contemporary construction in the area in which it is being built.The organization of the space of the Transitional dwelling includes the following premises: bedrooms; bathrooms; Living room, kitchen, dining room; An office and a sanitary room for the staff; Laundry and storage The repair of DDMWU Gorski Senovets aims to increase the quality of the services offered and to upgrade them with the inclusion of new services such as individual pedagogical support and psychological assistance and increasing the capacity of 20 to 30 persons. It is provided equipment and furnishing that meets the legal requirements and is suitable for the provision of the social services of residential type "Transitional dwelling for children aged 15-18 years" and day center for disabled children and youth.
