"Ensuring an appropriate and effective social infrastructure by merging existing establishments “Day care center for children with disabilities” and “Social rehabilitation and integration center” located in the “Day care center for children with disabilities and their families” in Municipality of Pavlikeni".

The current project will optimize the Social Services Complex in Pavlikeni by merging with existing ones “Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities”/DCCCD/ and “Social Rehabilitation and Integration Center”/SRIC/ in the “Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities and their Families” /DCCCDF/. The project provides construction works and equipment delivery for establishment of a Center, accordant personnel needs and compliance with the legislative requirements in compliance in which personnels of Pavlikeni and Suhindol municipalities will serve. A project proposal provides repair works on Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities the following premises: kitchen unit, consumer toilet, group work room and hall for healing gymnastics/ rehabilitation. Two children's playgrounds for children with disabilities and a playground with positional devices for children with disabilities will be built in the yard nearby new Center. Facility improvement and two existing center restructure to DCCCDF through implementation of separate programs and upgrading an existing activities in these services will lead to unified management. Also will be included another new activities such as: early intervention of disabilities, individual pedagogical support, mobile work, counseling, part-time care, work with children with mental health problems, assessing needs, providing support for access to other services, etc. On the territory of two municipalities the project will improve quality care for children or young people with disabilities, including severe disabilities. The project will help to create the appropriate settings for provision of the newly created social service with a view to increase the efficiency of existing services in Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities and Social Rehabilitation and Integration Center. Purchased equipment will provide necessary comfort include both personnels and health services staff.
