Project proposal aimed to establish a new types of social services and to expand the capacity of existing welfare services in Stara Zagora called to replace the institutional model of childcare. The project activities include the creation of the following services - Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities and their Families, Center for Public Support, Day Care Center for Children with Heavy Multiple Disabilities and their Families and Supervised Home for Young People aged 18-21. It is envisaged to increase the capacity of existing social welfares - Center for social integration and rehabilitation for children with autism and Center for public support. The main project activities are construction works and purchase of furniture/equipment, as follows: ▪ Reconstruction of Home for Children Deprived of Parental Care “Nezabravka” for hosting and creation of three new social services: Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities and their families, Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration of Children with Autism and Center for Community Support; ▪ Reconstruction of Home for Children Deprived of Parental Care “Teofano Popova” and its transformation into Day care center for children with severe multiple disabilities and their families; ▪ Repair of the existing Centre for community support in order to increase the users of the services provided by the Centre; ▪ Reconstruction and furnishing of an apartment, located in Stara Zagora, "Jeleznik", 15, Zagorka Str, to create the "Home under surveillance for young people aged 18 to 21"; The total capacity of the childcare infrastructure renovated is 329 persons.
