Establishment of a Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities and their families in the town of Troyan

This project proposal continues the process of deinstitutionalization of the care for children with disabilities and guarantees the right of every child to access quality care and community service according to his or her individual needs. The project proposal is in pursuance of the measures for building the necessary infrastructure, as set out in the updated Action Plan for the implementation of the National Strategy "Vision for deinstitutionalization of children in the Republic of Bulgaria" and according to the Card of community support services and family environment. The project proposal provides for the construction of a day center for children with disabilities and their families on the territory of the town of Troyan and includes construction, supply of necessary furniture and equipment. The target group for the day center is children aged 3 to 18 and their families. A technical design has been approved, providing construction and issued building permit. The project site is located in a municipal property called "For social and social activities" in the city of Troyan, "34 Troyanski polk" Str. 42. The project proposal is coordinated with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy with a letter with outgoing No 1808/27.07.2017 and provides for the provision of basic and auxiliary (service) rooms - groups for individual and group work, psychosensory and rehabilitation halls, specialist room and room staff, feeding room with spill, place For personal belongings and changing of consumers, sanitary facilities, boiler room, veranda with places for recreation and group work. There is a courtyard with a sensory garden, an outdoor play facility for children with disabilities, gazebo, sandstone, green areas and landscaping. The implementation of the current project proposal includes the necessary equipment and equipment to ensure the activity of the newly built social infrastructure, which will ensure a safe and secure environment for the children with disabilities.
