"Support for Deinstitutionalization of Child Care in Sliven Municipality"

The project proposal includes creation of two centers, which will provide support services in the community and in a family environment: - A Public Support Center; - A Day care center for support of children with severe multiple disabilities and their families, as well as expanding the services in the existing Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities with inclusion of activities for Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration, by purchasing an equipment. The first two centers will be located in one building with a common yard – the building of the former Primary school “Hadji Dimitar” in “Klutzohor” neighborhood. They will be with separate entrances for provision of free access of the target groups of the both centers. The construction and assembly works and supplies under the project will create favorable conditions for the realization of the services in the two centers. The project includes repair works of the building of the former school, delivery of equipment and renovation of the yard. For expansion of the services in the existing Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities /located in "Druzhba"neighborhood, Sliven/ new equipment will be purchased. After realization of this activity, the center will provide additional services as a Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration.
