Establishment of an effective social infrastructure for provision of 7 new social services in Municipality of Plovdiv

The main aim of the project is to successfully continue the process of deinstitutionalization on the territory of Plovdiv through the replacement of the institutional model for care with one in the family or closer to the family one.The concrete aims are:1.Provision of infrastructure for 7 new social services for children and youth–2 family accommodation centers for children,a transitional residence for children(age15-18),a monitored residence for youth(age18-21),a center for community support for children and families with an option of emergent accession,a day center for support of children with disabilities and their families, a day center for support of children with heavy multiple disabilities;all services are in correspondence with the Map of Services For Support Towards the Community and the Family Environment and in correspondence with the Residential Services Map.2.Encouragement of the social inclusion and the equal access to services for children and youth that are accommodated,incl. children with disabilities and with a need of permanent medical care.3.Guarantees the right of each child to access a qualitative care and services in the community according to its individual needs.The aims of the project are in total correspondence with the ones of the Procedure and of the PA5 of OPRD.The main activities include:1.Organization and management;2.Conduct of public procurement and a choice of contractors;3.Information and communication activities;4. Establishment of an effective social infrastructure for provision of 7 new social services in Plovdiv Municipality;5.Supervision of constructions and assessment of the correspondence;6.Supply and montage of equipment on the sites.The project corresponds to the context of the Updated Action Plan for Implementation of the National Strategy “Vision for Deinstitutionalization for Children in Republic of Bulgaria”. The investment in social infrastructure will contribute to the complete regional and local development.
