Providing new social services in Municipality of Belogradchik

The present project proposal „Providing new social services in Municipality of Belogradchik ” includes the creation of three new social services provided to the Municipality of Belogradchik-Community Support Center (CSC), Day care center for children with disabilities and their families (DCCCDTF) – Belogradchik and Family Type Residential Center (FTRC). Its realization will help to continue the process of deinstitutionalization, spatial and social inclusion of marginalized groups in society, prevention of their isolation and ensuring equal access to public services. The project includes research activities, preparation of an investment project in "Technical" phase for the aforementioned project, execution of construction and assembly works, supply and installation of complete equipment, furnishings and facilities, construction and author supervision, Project management, information and communication of the project, commissioning of the site and start-up of the provision of new community services. The three new social services will be provided in two separate buildings. The CSC and the DCCCDTF will be provided in one common two-storey building on two separate floors. The DCCCDTF will be positioned on the first floor of the building due to the specific needs of the children with motor or mental disabilities, and the CSC will be positioned on the second floor and access to it is provided with an internal stairs and an elevator. The FTRC will be positioned in separate building. The project is fully in line with the European Union's horizontal approach to Improving Access for Persons with Disabilities and Equal Opportunities and will help to achieve the objectives set in sectoral policy papers in the field of social policy as well as in the field of deinstitutionalization of childcare and People with disabilities.
