Social infrastructure for children services

The project proposal includes activities for build appropriate infrastructure in Municipality of Blagoevgrad for the development of the following social services: Day care center for support of children with disabilities and their families, Day care center for children with severe multiple disabilities and their families, Center for Community Support. These are three of five services planned for construction in the Municipality of Blagoevgrad, they are set out in the Community and Family Support Services Map and the Residence Services Card, approved by the Interdepartmental Working Group for the Management and Coordination of the Deinstitutionalization Process. The total value of the project is in compliance with the maximum amount of the defined grant for Blagoevgrad Municipality as a specific beneficiary under the procedure. The project proposal does not provide new construction. The services included will be located in available municipal buildings, by reorganization and repair of existing facilities. An engineering procedure is foreseen for this purpose and the construction of the infrastructure will be in line with the functional requirements and guidelines developed and approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy in line with the relevant European documents for deinstitutionalization and community life. The project also provides for the provision of appropriate furniture and equipment for the five social services, which will ensure a safe and secure environment for the users.
