Reliability in the community

One of the main priorities of the national policy in recent years has been the establishment of an effectively functioning child protection system to ensure the successful implementation of the child welfare reform in Bulgaria. The main aim and direction of the reform is the deinstitutionalization of the existing system of social services and the development of a system of alternative services for children and families based in the community. The implementation of priorities requires the implementation of childcare reform and a qualitative change in the approach to social services provided to them. The project proposal provides for the building of the following services under the Community and Family Support Services Map and the Residence Services Card: 1. A new day care center for support of children with disabilities and their families; 2. A new transitional dwelling for children from 15 to 18 years of age; 3. Newly observed housing for young people aged 18-21; 4. Repair of Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities with inclusion of CSRI services; 5. Repair / furnishing / equipment of the Center for Public Support. The implementation of the project will permanently contribute to the achievement of the goals set in the Municipal Strategy for Development of Social Services.
