Construction of a Social Services Center for children

The project proposal foresees the construction of a social services center for children on the territory of Veliko Tarnovo Municipality. The services included in the Center are Daycare center for children with severe multiple disabilities and their families, Center for Community Support-expansion of the capacity and Transitional home for children from 15 to 18 years of age. The services are determine on the basis of the Map of services for support in the Community and in family environment and the Map of Residential services. The implementation of the activities, included in the project proposal will lead to elimination of the institutional care for children and provision of quality care for the children and the young people, including the children with disabilities and severe disabilities. The project contributes to the implementation of the "National Strategy Vision for Deinstitutionalization of Children in the Republic of Bulgaria" and the respective Updated Action plan.
