Home and family for each child from Dupnitsa Municipality

The Municipality of Dupnitsa, as a concrete beneficiary under the Operational Program "Regions in Growth" with the financial support of the EU and the state budget of the Republic of Bulgaria, will build a new family-type placement center for children with 12 beds – Family-type accommodation center. /FTAC/ With the building of this center, it will be provided adequate and effective social infrastructure, contributing to the provision of a new type of residential service in the community, according to the Residence Services Card. The operation of such a center will provide social inclusion and equal access to services for children currently accommodated in homes, including children with disabilities. The project will support the provision of community-based residential childcare infrastructure, in line with the Community and Family Support Services Card and the Residence Services Card. The project will support the construction of a new social infrastructure object in the process of deinstitutionalization - Family-type accommodation center. FTAC will be built by new construction. Upon receipt of all permits for use and commissioning of the Center, according to the Spatial Planning Act, the FTAC will be equipped and furnished. In order to ensure compliance with the functional requirements and the guidelines for the construction of new infrastructure in the process of implementation of the activities the FTAC will receive a letter of support from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. In this way a new social service infrastructure will be built in the resident type community for children on the territory of the Municipality of Dupnitsa
