Building a Day care center for disabled children and their families

This project proposal aims to provide conditions for a new kind of social service supporting disabled children and their families. According the Child community support services chart for Byala Slatina Municipality has been identified the need of creating a new social service "Day care center for disabled children and their families". The project for the establishment of Day Care Center will provide the necessary social infrastructure for disabled children services within the project realization will be supported the building renovation, rooms reconstruction as well as the furnishing/equipment related to the quality provision of the social service. With the project implementation will be provided an adequate material base, where differentiated premises will functionally meet the needs of the target group - disabled children and young people and their families. The main objective of the project is to provide adequate and effective social infrastructure which guarantees access to a new kind of social service for disabled children and young people and quality community care. This will be achieved through the implementation of several specific objectives aimed at modernization the available infrastructure to ensure social inclusion and equal access to a new community support service. The project implementation aims to achieve the following results: - Provided conditions for quality care for disabled children on the territory of Byala Slatina Municipality; - Established a new type of social service to support disabled children in the community; - Promoting better social inclusion in all aspects of life. The main activities of the project are: - Project management; - Information and communication; - Reconstruction and renovation of the building; - Supply of equipment and furniture.
