“Together in supporting the children of Kardzhali”

The main objective of the project “Together in supporting the children of Kardzhali” is to create conditions for provision of new residential and complementary social services in the community as well as to improve the efficiency and quality of already provided social services for children and young people.The spec.objectives are: To ensure equal access to adequate social services for children and young people from Kardzhali and to support their social inclusion;- To create an appropriate infrastructure and conditions for the provision of 3 new community-based residential services for children and young people by reconstruction of the building fund and providing the necessary equipment;- To increase the quality and efficiency of the provided services through modernization of the building fund of the Day Care Center for children with disabilities "Nadezhda" in Kardzhali.Target group of the project are 230 children and young people aged 18 to 21 who lives in risk and/or have disabilities and who will use the services provided by the existing Day Care Center "Nadezhda" in Kardzhali and the 3 new social services, namely the Center for Public Support, the Center for Support of Children with Disabilities and their families and the Monitored home for young people aged 18 to 21. Indirect beneficiaries are over 300 parents and 41 staff members of the new social services. The main activities of the project are related to the implementation of construction and assembly works for the reconstruction of the building in which the new services will be created according to the Community and Family Support Services Map and the Residence Services Map as well as those related to the modernization of the building of Day Care Center "Nadezhda" in Kardzhali.The main activities also includes supply of equipment for these services, conducting of audits in accord. with the Energy Efficiency Act and the Spatial Planning Act, design, information and publicity and management of the project.
